OPERATIONAL STRUCTURE OF THE MISSIONS ENTERPRISE OF THE CHURCH OF PENTECOST

The Missions Office of The Church of Pentecost coordinates the church’s growth and missionary activities globally. It is a critical body for the church’s existence and growth, as The Church of Pentecost was founded through missions.

The Missions Board (MB) is the apex body regulating the church’s missionary enterprise globally. Due to its strategic importance, the board is headed by the Chairman of the church. The members are:

The Missions Director (MD) leads the day-to-day administration of the church’s missionary agenda. Reporting directly to the Missions Board through the Chairman, the MD, as the Chief Executive Officer of the Missions Office, implements policies and directives of the Board and ensures the church’s missionary drive remains robust.

The Regional Missions Board (RMB) oversees missionary activities in regional blocs.. Currently, there are 15 regional blocs, namely:
1. North America
2. South America
3. Central America
4. The Caribbean
5. East and Southeast Asia
6. South and Central Asia
7. Middle East, Gulf & North Africa
8. Australia & Oceania
9. Western Europe
10. Eastern Europe
11. East Africa
12. SADC
13. Central Africa
14. West Africa Francophone
15. West Africa Anglophone

The Regional Missions Director (RMD) coordinates the church’s missions activities within a specific geographic region or bloc. Responsible for strategic leadership, coordination, and management of mission activities, the RMD implements decisions of the Regional Missions Board and reports to the Missions Director.

The Regional Missions Office (RMO), managed by the Regional Missions Director, consists of administrative staff running the day-to-day operations of the church’s missions drive in the region.

Each nation has a National Missions Committee that reports mission activities to the Regional Missions Office through the Regional Missions Director.

The National Missions Committee Chairman heads the National Missions Committee, taking reports from various Area Missions Committees within the nation.

The Area Missions Committee moderates the church’s missions activities within a specific administrative area. It consists of a five-member committee chaired by the Area Missions Committee Chairman.

The Area Missions Committee Chairman chairs the Area Missions Committee and reports to the National Missions Committee through the chairman.

The District Missions Committee consists of three members, with the district minister as the Chairman. It reports to the Area Missions Committee through the chairman.

Local Missions Committee consists of three members, with the Presiding Elder as the Chairman. It reports to the District Missions Committee through the chairman.
